Jennifer Tilly was conceived in Los Angeles on 16 September 1958, in extremely poor conditions. Her mother was a schoolteacher and an unsuccessful actor while her father sold automobiles. Jennifer is the eldest of her siblings attended many theater shows along with her mother. Jennifer was impressed. Jennifer's father and mother divorced at the age of five. Jennifer spent most of her early years living in British Columbia after her mom was moved to the province along with four other children. Jennifer was not a scholar, though as a youngster she was very artistic. In Canada she was the target of bullies frequently. She began to lose interest in theater throughout her time in high school. The mother of her child encouraged her to participate in additional roles in different performances. She was inspired by her mom to motivate all kids in her family to develop a passion for and interest for arts. Then she began acting.
