Kyra Minturn Sedgwick, a well-known American screen and television actress. Her name is well-known all over all over the world, and especially in America as she played the leading role in 'The Cloner. Sedgwick was inclined towards acting, art and Broadway from the age of twelve years old. Sedgwick got her first introduction to Broadway from her mother. Sedgwick was offered her first professional part at 16 in the TV show "Another World". Her initial TV appearances were not big, however she was more attracted to becoming an established actress. First, her support role in the film starring Tom Cruise Born on the Fourth of July turned her into a star in the screen. Sedgwick was able to continue getting parts as she became successful with the film. There were some other roles in films such as Singles, Heart and Souls and Phenomenon. Sedgwick was a part of Kevin Bacon in a TV show called Lemon Sky. She married Kevin Bacon at 22. Sedgwick was a star on American television thanks to her impressive performance in "The Closer" which was a seven-season television series that earned her the Golden Globe Award and Emmy.
