Charisma Carpenter Charisma Carpenter, an American actress, is recognized as the character of "Cordelia chase" from the teen dramas of "Buffy the vampire Slayer," as well as Angel. Carpenter was trained in ballet and cheerleading, and only found her way into acting by accident. Carpenter was found by a Los Angeles commercial agent as she was waiting tables. She quickly rose to become a well-loved fictional character.
