Nathalie Emmanuel
Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actor who is best known for her role as Missandei (HBO's fantasy series Game of Thrones) from the year 2011 until 2019 She was also the first British actor. Emmanuel was born and brought up in Southend-on-the-Sea in Essex's famous seaside town she has always had a keen interest in acting. The mother of Nathalie was aware and she began enroling her in dance, sing and acting lessons when she was only three years old. Emmanuel gained speed as a actor and, by the late 90s she was playing a young Nala on stage in"The Lion King," a West End performance of acclaimed stage musical "The Lion King." Emmanuel auditioned for roles in the film industry and on television while she was still a teenager. In 2007, she was offered her first role of note when she appeared as Sasha Valentine in the British soap series Hollyoaks (Channel 4 1995-). Emmanuel performed the role for four years until leaving the show in 2010. Emmanuel's next big break followed three years later. she was cast as Missandei as the character's interpreter the character Daenerys Targaryen (portrayed by Emilia Clarke), on HBO's "Game of Thrones." Emmanuel was a part of each season of HBO's "Game of Thrones" until the last episode in May of 2019.
