Agnetha faltskog, best known for her performance as a soloist from Sweden. However, she will forever be remembered as a past member of ABBA which is the most popular and successful commercial pop group. After leaving school at 15 Agnetha started singing with Bernt Engelhardt's band that quickly gained popularity. They signed her to a recording contract with Enghardt. Her debut hit the Swedish charts. Bjornulvaeus, whom she later wed as her boyfriend, was also in the mix and she was a part of ABBA. ABBA was one of the most loved pop groups across the globe during the period of eight years. The group received gold and Platinum awards around all over the world. Her albums came out after ABBA which included 'Wrap Your Arms Around Me,' 'Eyes of a Woman and I Stand Alone,' they were all extremely popular in Sweden but also gained popularity in Europe However, they did not make it to the U.S. ABBA music was the inspiration for a jukebox-musical called Mamma Mia!.
